    The toilet brush bristles are made with strong coconut fibres, ideal to give it a good scrub when needed. These coconut fibres are a natural waste product from coconuts and are an antibacterial fibre, (so it will not get smelly). We love coconut fibres too because it means no micro plastics are leaching in our waterways!  The curve makes it extra easy to clean, and the long handle make sure you can keep a safe distance :).

    In this pack, the toilet brush is paired with your choice of either a granite, concrete or cream paper pottery holder.     They believe that being an eco friendly business is so much more than the products they produce. For them, it’s looking at the entire lifecycle of their products, from the raw materials, to their disposal, they ensure their supply chain is ethical and transparent.

    Materials
    They use 100% plant based fibres in their brushes which means they can be composted at the end of their life. The timber they use is a mixture of waste material from the building industry to plantation timbers from FSC certified forests and rubber wood sourced from trees at the end of their rubber producing life.

    Manufacturing
    Each of their brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, in return they provide sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house creche. We love this because the women have the power to be financially independent and directors of their own destiny! 

    Did you know…their first product was paper made from elephant poo?! From day 1 they’ve thought about how waste can be repurposed. We love that!

    End of life

    Toilet Brush:

    This brush is 100% plastic-free and can be placed into your home compost bin where it will breakdown leaving a small piece of wire which can then be placed in your home recycling bin.

    Holder:

    These holders are 100% plastic-free and can be placed into your home compost bin, we recommended breaking the holder into smaller pieces to help the break down process.

      Poo stick

      The sensuously splayed bristles slid over the slick, shiny porcelain surface so sweetly, sweeping away the slightest sign of smeared sh... stuff. You know, the stuff stuck inside toilet bowls (well hopefully inside).

      no plastic

      Great that both the brush and the container are plastic free. Sturdy and look better than any of the plastic ones. Brush does the job well. I bought the concrete one for the 2nd loo as I already had the granite one.
