Now that I have worked out the right consistency to make the paste, I am loving the mudcake mascara. I only wish there was a way to stop myself from rubbing my eyes and smudging the mascara during the course of the day.
I was intrigued to try the Mud Cake Mascara as I love the idea of being able to refill it and I also like using eyeliner so having the eyeliner brush end as well is a bonus. Once you get used to the way to load the mascara onto the brush, it’s easy and effective and I like the way you layer it on to get the desired look. Only drawback is that I haven’t mastered the eyeliner component yet!
Perfect colour and texture, lasts all day long, my new go to mascara!
I purchased Scoop mud cake mascara and find it’s good but not great. It splashes black flecks over the compact, clumps on my lashes and then sadly does flake onto my cheeks. It takes several layers to build up the cover but that takes time. I really hoped it would be a great but so far it’s just not worth the hard work. I’ll persist and see if practice makes perfect but so far unfortunately it’s not my favourite.
I was tired of buying mascara and throwing it out I don’t use it very often. Which is why I wanted to try this option knowing it’s refillable. For me it will take a little to get used to, the concept is fantastic- I’m finding it a little messy but that’s just me- it does work and apply well
