These bags are made from plant base thermoplastic corn starch resins, manufactured using renewable resources and are 100% biodegradable and compostable. These compostable bin liners are super efficient, providing superior puncture, tear and heat resistance as well as being leak-proof. They are also made with breathable materials that help control odour and dissipate moisture.

Great bin bags that don't make me feel guilty like I would with a plastic bag. I use these in my kitchen and love them. They do start to breakdown with moisture so I try adding wet foods scraps amongst other rubbish so it's not directly touching the bag, or I compost the food. Sharp items can be a problem too, but again I just cover them with other rubbish and it's usually fine. I would love them more if they had handles but for the purpose of being environmentally friendly, they are fantastic!

These bags are a good size for our 55L bin. It doesn't normally rip unless you put sharp things in, or hot/wet food scraps and push them down. Made for lightly filling up rubbish. Still better than a lot of other home compostable bags out there.
