This Urban Composter’s Pack includes an 8 L composter which is small enough to fit under a sink and sleek enough to sit on the bench, making it perfect for couples, small families & apartment living & an Accelerator Spray to help speed up the fermentation period.
This composter will turn just about anything into nutrient rich fertiliser for your garden, including: meat (no bones tho’), fish, vegetables, fruit, dairy, coffee and wilted flowers. This is awesome because not all composting systems can accept meat, dairy or fish! *woot woot*.
Starter Pack includes
1. An 8 L compost bin - you can choose the colour of your lid
2. An accelerator spray (500ml): this is a dynamic fermented fruit extract that contains effective microbes to help break down food scraps placed in the Urban Composters.
How to use?
- Continuously add your kitchen scraps to your Urban Composter
- Spray with the Urban Composter Accelerator Spray
- Drain the liquid produced from these fermented scraps every couple of days and add it to your garden and indoor plants as a free super vitamin booster! Draining allows your scraps to ferment instead of rot.
- Mix the juice with water using a 1:100 ratio and use it to fertilise the garden.
- You can also use it as an organic drain cleaner!
- At the end of the 2 week process (when using the accelerator spray), add the pulp to the compost patch or worm farm outside.

I'm still learning how to get the most out of my composter, but I'm so happy with it so far. If for no other reason than our little flying insects are not flitting around our counter any more. They are still around for now, but not like they were and certainly not around the composter. Can also confirm, no smell from the unit either. The unit itself is nice enough for the kitchen bench if this is where you want to keep it, but also small enough for under the sink if you need to tuck it away (I have the small size). Getting the accelerator with the composter was a good idea of course and great that Go For Zero sells it as a set. The accelerator is strong if you breath it in when spraying it, but has a similar smell to kombucha, so not unpleasant. Looking forward to learning more about composting in this way.

So easy to use and to get in the habit of using. When I could tap out the first "juice" I was running around the house & jumping for joy! So good I had to buy another one I went for the bigger size
