      Sizes, dimensions & capacity of actual bag:

      • Small - 48 x 46 cm / 18L (suitable for 12-20L Bins)
      • Large - 60 x 70 cm / 35L (suitable for 30-40L Bins)
      • X Large - 88 x 100 cm / 80L (suitable for 75-85L Bins)

      How to clean: 

      • If the inner lining is not that dirty, turn inside out and wipe it down with a soapy damp cloth or with a hose. 
      • Alternatively, simply turn bag inside out and pop the bag into your washing machine on a cold quick cycle (15 minutes) to wash and hang outside to dry or wipe dry. 

      *If washing your reusable bag in your washing machine, we recommend always washing it on a cold cycle below 30 degrees.

      Meet Sasha and Johnathan, the passionate family behind TOMbag. With a deep love for the natural world and a strong desire to combat climate change, they embarked on a mission to create a sustainable solution for single-use garbage bags.

      Inspired by their daughter, Lyla, Sasha and Johnathan recognised the urgent need to eliminate single-use plastics from their household. However, they discovered a gap in the market for reusable garbage bags that actually worked. Determined to make a difference, they dedicated themselves to developing an innovative and purpose-designed solution.

      After extensive research and countless hours of hard work, TOMbag was born. More than just a product, it represents their commitment to reducing waste and protecting the planet for future generations. By empowering people to quit single-use bin liners and opt for TOMbag, they aim to significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste polluting our environment.

      How to use

      1. Line your bin with your new TOMbag reusable garbage bag. Use the top inner layer to cover your bins brim and secure tightly using the cord stopper. 

      2. Business as usual by filling it with your trash, recycling or compost as normal. 

      Pro tip: have a seperate bag for your general waste, recycling and food scraps for composting or if not composting, wrap your food scraps into old newspaper. 

      3. Once full, use the inner layer cord tie to tighten your TOMbag closed. Take your full bag to your main bin, open and empty garbage holding one side of the top handle and bottom handle. Shake and you're done! 

      4. Depending on how you are using your reusable bag, if needed, wipe down or wash in your washing machine (cold water, line dry) as needed. 

      5. Take your TOMbag back to your bin and reuse again and again. 

      End of life

      With the right care, your TOMbag will last. 

      Once your reusable bag reaches its end of life it can be sent back to TOMbag to be properly recycled with Terracycle. 

      Packaged in a cardboard box that is suitable for your home compost or home recycling bin.
