Meet Jessie and Adam, the dynamic duo behind Eco Ocean Hair. Adam, also known as 'Adam Hough BMX,' has been a rider and bike mechanic for over two decades, while Jessie has a passion for reducing food waste and even dumpster dives. They crossed paths at Jessie's event, 'Munchie Mondays,' a food waste feast held at Edinburgh Gardens in Melbourne, where they discovered their shared love for sustainability. They tied the knot in the same park in 2019, showcasing their commitment to a sustainable lifestyle with a wedding that cost less than $500.
Their journey into creating eco-friendly hair ties began unexpectedly when Jessie found herself in need of one while at their local surf spot, Point Impossible. From that moment, they realized they could make the impossible possible by developing environmentally friendly hair ties, hair care products, and accessories that are surf-proof, gentle on hair, and protect against salt and sun damage.
As their journey continues, Jessie and Adam are dedicated to evolving and updating their offerings to align with their sustainable values. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from this inspiring couple.
