    It started as a simple soap-making experiment in the kitchen of Emma Cook. Together with her husband, Anthony, they set out to make a bar of soap from all natural ingredients that are palm oil free, paraben free and without any other nasties that could harm themselves or the planet.

      Pink Clay Facial Cleanser

      I was a bit suspicious at how a cleanser in form of a bar will clean my face and I'm happy to say that it seems to work really well for my skin. It does the same job my previous mainstream cleanser did, which makes me really happy because I have been using the old one for years before considering switching to zero waste.

      Not my pick for a facial cleanser.

      After using the same cream cleanser for years, I am not a fan of this soap as a facial cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling like it has been washed with soap and leaves a little sting/irritation in my eyes. Using this as a body soap is fine.

      I like it but…

      I like that it cleans my make up off my face and cleans the grim but I feel like I do have to scrub quite a bit to ensure it is all off. Also I don’t like the after soap feeling on my face. It doesn’t feel soft and moisturised after more like rubbery and squeaky.
