Swapping to a natural laundry alternative is one of the low-impact and easy swaps you can make for your and our planet (yay). Traditional laundry powders often contain harsh chemicals that can be detrimental to both our waterways and our skin (people with sensitive skin may be particularly prone to skin irritations).
The ANSC Natural Washing Powder is made from off cuts of their other toxin-free soaps that are made with Saponified Plant Oils. Meaning that there is minimal waste or energy behind this eco-friendly product. A great choice for your family and the environment!
It is gentle on skin and is suitable for both handwashing and washing machines (top and front loaders). Excellent for the whole family, even soaking cloth nappies!

How to use:
1. Washing Machine:
- Add one tablespoon to your wash load (yes that’s right only a small amount!)
- Optional: you can add essential oils (Tea Tree, Eucalyptus or Lemon) to enhance smell & antibacterial benefits
- Watching it wash your clothes, don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t foam up, your clothes will still be left smelling and feeling clean.
- HINT: Add a tablespoon of Bicarb to boost the wash and whiten whites!
2. Hand Wash:
- Add 1/2 tablespoon to your 5 L water
- Optional: you can add essential oils (Tea Tree, Eucalyptus or Lemon) to enhance smell & antibacterial benefits
- Soak Delicates
3. Dish washing:
- Add 1 tablespoon to hot water
- Stir vigorously to dissolve & create bubbles
- Wash & rinse dishes as you would with any other dishwashing liquid
4. Cleaning gel:
- Add a 50/50 ratio of flakes and hot water to a container
- Let sit for at least an hour or until flakes dissolve
- Use paste to wash kitchen and bathroom surfaces, as you would with a usual household cleaner

I tried this product and soapberries. I didn’t like this product as it left a grimy feeling on clothes. I do love soapberries so will stick with them

Hey J, Thank you so much for this review! That is sad to read you did not love the flakes. A grimy feel can occur if too much is being used, as if you are doing a smaller load of washing, you may not need as much as a big load of washing.
