PLASTIC-FREE WATER FILTER | REMOVES CHLORINE, HEAVY METALS, AND IMPURITIES FROM WATER | 6 MONTHS OF FILTERED WATER | HOME COMPOSTABLE | ZERO WASTE

There’s nothing quite as refreshing as the taste of clean, fresh, filtered water. Lucky for you, our plastic-free Go For Zero  Activated Charcoal Water Filter is perfect for at home or on the go in your reusable water bottle!

By popping this stick into your water, you’ll get to reap the benefits of charcoal filtration without any hidden plastics or unwanted nasties. Charcoal has a unique and powerful ability to purify 3 times with every use to mechanically remove dirt and debris, filter out chemicals and odours, and remove limescale!

However, the coolest part of this filter is that it actually leaves behind ‘the good stuff’ such as important minerals and salts for a healthy body, mind, and planet!

Want more than a filter? Pop your stick into your wardrobe, fridge, or your smelly gym bag to absorb humidity and odours with ease - how cool!?

    Size: Approx. 12cm (Length) x 2cm (Diameter)

    How long they last:

Each stick will last 3 months when used in 1L of water daily. After 3 months,  "recharge" your stick by boiling it for  10 minutes and using it with confidence for an additional 3 months. This means every stick lasts you 6 months!

Naturally good for you & the planet:

    • Replaces your plastic water filters with ease
    • Mechanical & Carbon filter that works to remove debris and filter out chemical contaminants that other filters leave behind
    • Removal of limescale  to prevent a build-up of residue
    • Banishes the ‘bad stuff’  while maintaining the healthy balance of your water
    • Compostable at end of life (or break it up and spread it over your garden/plant soil)

Owned, with ♡, in Australia. Made responsibly in Taiwan.

    Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. Being an online store, we guarantee that your orders are packed with zero plastic and delivered through shipping carriers  who compensate the amount of carbon dioxide used when shipping by investing equally in restoring ecosystem projects.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells.

Go For Zero is more than a store. We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet. It is our mission is to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

Thank you for your trust in us,

    With love,

    Ellie

    How to use

Simply rinse under water. No need to boil your stick before use as they have gone through high-temperature sterilisation already.

Fill your drink bottle or home water jug with water and drop your charcoal stick in. Let sit for 1-hour minimum, then sip away! The longer you can let it sit, the more it can work its magic and bind the impurities to the charcoal.

    End of life

After 6 months of use, pop the charcoal stick into your compost bin or spread it over your plant soil for an amazing nutritional boost for your plant babies and zero waste disposal.

Our cardboard boxes can also be placed in your compost bin or simply buried in your garden, for a complete zero-waste product!

        Work better than I imagined

"I was new to the whole filtered water thing. Even sceptical. But I noticed immediately how different the tap water tasted. Now I will ONLY drink the water filtered using these charcoal filters. Great, sustainable, and relatively cheap alternative."

        So much better

"The water here always had a 'taste'. Not totally unpleasant but it made you not want to drink water much. Now I have the Charcoal Water Filter and I am drinking so much more water. It just tastes clean. I am surprised at how much it does do the job. I would recommend this product as we all have to drink more water. It definitely helps 100%."
