Did you know…Billions of coconut shells go to waste each year; they are either burnt or discarded as waste. Coconut shells are a natural resource that can play a serious role in reducing the need for plastic bowls. They represent a closed loop product, for example, the shells are grown naturally, and instead of being discarded, they are handcrafted into bowls by artisans, and then can be composted back into the earth at the end of their life.

The Original Coconut Bowl is a reusable, durable, and plastic-free bowl, providing a blank canvas that turns your delicious meals into a masterpiece. Each coconut is grown in Vietnam, hand-picked, cut, cleaned, and finished by local Vietnamese people. It’s Coconut Bowls mission to source, rescue, and reuse as many of these shells as possible so they can have the biggest positive impact on the planet.

The difference between the Original and the Jumbo is that the Jumbo is 30% bigger so it can hold bigger meals.

Care:

Please handwash these babies in warm soapy water. Rub coconut oil over bowls every 10-20 uses to extend their life. Check out our Dish Block and Natural Brushes.

*Do not use in the microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, or soak for long periods of time.
