"Orange and yellow mess, a bit drying. My hair is normally not to dry and very forgiving of stuff that it has handled in the past. This was surprisingly a bit drying. I have used clear henna and loved how shiny it made my hair, this time my hair was dry and tangled. Also the colour had full on orangey and yellow hues. 2 stars as it was relatively easy to use and pleasant but results are not great. If they could work on formulation to make this product ice/Ashey I'm sure it would suit way more people and people would be drawn to it."

"I've been using this henna for a few years. The results are natural looking & it really does condition my hair. The colour is close to my own with no brassy red. Once you get used to the preparation it's not a big deal & I put my hair in a shower cap then beanie (quite the look!) & go about my day at home. I'd far prefer this to using chemicals on my hair & washing them into my grey water system. Highly recommended."

Didn’t cover greys
"This is the second time I have tried a henna based product to dye my greys. And I was sorely disappointed both times. I followed the instructions exactly, left product on for specified amount of time, I even purchased the special shampoo bar for stubborn greys and used it prior to application. And there was no change to my greys at all. It left my hair feeling very healthy and shiny but as far as colouring my hair, it was a fail."

"I’ve used Walnut Shadow many times over the years because it gives such a beautiful brown colour. Haha but I hate applying it so a friend would do it for me while we had a chat and coffee :) My hair is thick and when it was longer would need 2 packets to cover it all. I hadn’t used Desert Shadow for a few years but had chopped my hair so thought I’d try again. It’s less of a hassle with shoulder length hair but I still don’t find the “me time” enjoyable haha! But the colour is just as beautiful. There is no faulting the consistent quality of this product. 5 star colour and quality."
