Deep Chestnut is the darkest brown in town, giving you dark red highlights in the sun.
Filled with nutrients from Aloe Vera and Henna that are great for your hair and scalp, this dark brown hair dye protects and gives your hair a smooth and soft feel after application.
- Ideal for: naturally brown hair
We recommend a Red Shadow or Copper Shadow base application for hair with more than 30% grey, light blonde & colour resistant hair to achieve optimum colour results.

Time Required:
Organic hair colours do need time to deposit colour onto your hair. Allow yourself some time to sit back and relax whilst your colour develops! For Non Grey coverage allow 1 hour +m & for Grey Coverage allow 2 to 3 hours.
How much do you need to use?
- Short hair & root touch ups: 1/2 pack
- Medium Hair: 1 pack
- Long Hair: 1 to 1.5 packs
- Super long hair: 2 to 3 packs
- Thick hair: requires an extra 1/4 pack for short hair, 1/2 pack for medium hair & 3/4 for long hair.

I am so grateful for this product. I am extremely allergic to hair dye and even when i have had patch tests done for other organic dyes at hairdressers, i have still had an extreme reaction. Desert Shadow so far is the only one i can use with no problems. I was giving up hope that id have to go grey until i found this brand. I dont like the process and find it a big hassle. And i think the product smells horrible and reminds me of swamp water haha, but even with that, i love this product and have finally found dye i can use. I just wish there were more colour options.

I was so skeptical about this hair dye! I thought there was no possible way it would work. It works amazing and the more you use it, the better you'll get at the application. Just be warned, it can get quite messy!

Love this as an alternative to chemical hair dyes. I also use it as a treatment for my hair it feel nice and soft and its so shiny. It is a bit messy to apply and sometimes I wish someone else did it but worth it for the end result.
