    Eco Max believes that the choices you make create the world you want to live in. When they create their products they follow the following principles:
    • Ethical manufacturing
    • Well designed, made to last & biodegradable at end of life
    • And most of all respect the planet

    They believe that being an eco friendly business is so much more than the products they produce. For them, it’s looking at the entire lifecycle of their products, from the raw materials, to their disposal, they ensure their supply chain is ethical and transparent.

    Materials
    They use 100% plant based fibres in their brushes which means they can be composted at the end of their life. The timber they use is a mixture of waste material from the building industry to plantation timbers from FSC certified forests and rubber wood sourced from trees at the end of their rubber producing life.

    Manufacturing
    Each of their brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, in return they provide sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house creche. We love this because the women have the power to be financially independent and directors of their own destiny! 

    Did you know…their first product was paper made from elephant poo?! From day 1 they’ve thought about how waste can be repurposed. We love that!

    End of life

    These holders are 100% plastic-free and can be placed into your home compost bin, we recommended breaking the holder into smaller pieces to help the break down process.

      Toilet Brush Holder

      I’m thrilled with this product. It’s looks elegant, works very well, and is perfectly sustainable. It’s the 2nd time I’ve bought this toilet brush holder. I had the previous one for 3-4 years, and once it started perishing, I pulled it apart and composted it! Very happy and would highly recommend.

      Elegant, sustainable toilet brush holder

      Started off buying one of these, keeps the toilet brush so clean, so have bought one for each toilet and for my Mum's house as well. She is new to the plastic free journey and loves this with the coconut toilet brush, cleans better than anything else we have tried.
