PLASTIC-FREE BOTTLE BRUSH | NATURAL PLANT MATERIALS | ANTIBACTERIAL | NON-ABRASIVE | VEGAN | BIODEGRADABLE | ZERO-WASTE CLEANING | ETHICALLY HANDMADE

Looking for an effective bottle brush that cleans hard-to-reach places without relying on plastic?

Meet the Eco Max Premium Bottle Brush, a durable, plastic-free cleaning essential designed to make washing bottles, jars, glasses, reusable drink bottles, vases, and other narrow-neck containers a breeze.

Handcrafted using sustainably sourced FSC® Certified timber, natural Coconut Fibre bristles, and rust-resistant galvanised wire, this eco-friendly bottle brush transforms natural materials into a powerful cleaning tool that's tough on grime and gentle on your glassware.

The naturally firm Coconut Fibre bristles effectively scrub away residue, stains, and build-up while remaining non-abrasive on surfaces. Its slim, elongated design easily reaches deep into bottles and jars, helping you clean those awkward spaces that sponges simply can't reach.

Unlike plastic bottle brushes that shed synthetic fibres over time, this natural alternative is made from renewable materials that can safely return to the earth at the end of their life.

And let's be honest, it looks pretty stylish sitting next to your sink too!

Size: The bottle brush is 6.5cm wide and 38cm long (including handle), perfect for those hard to reach places.

Aussie Family behind the brand

Eco Max believes that the choices you make create the world you want to live in. When they create their products they follow the following principles:
  • Ethical manufacturing
  • Well designed, made to last & biodegradable at end of life
  • And most of all respect the planet

They believe that being an eco friendly business is so much more than the products they produce. For them, it’s looking at the entire lifecycle of their products, from the raw materials, to their disposal, they ensure their supply chain is ethical and transparent.

Materials
They use 100% plant based fibres in their brushes which means they can be composted at the end of their life. The timber they use is a mixture of waste material from the building industry to plantation timbers from FSC certified forests and rubber wood sourced from trees at the end of their rubber producing life.

Manufacturing
Each of their brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, in return they provide sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house creche. We love this because the women have the power to be financially independent and directors of their own destiny!

Did you know…their first product was paper made from elephant poo?! From day 1 they’ve thought about how waste can be repurposed. We love that!

How to use

  • Apply your favourite natural dish soap to the brush or directly into your bottle or jar.
  • Insert the brush and scrub using an up-and-down twisting motion.
  • Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  • Shake away excess water after use and allow to dry completely.

Care instructions:
After use, allow the brushes to dry properly by hanging them up or standing them on their bristles so the water can flow from moisture-sensitive areas. Soaking in water for prolonged periods of time is not advised. Spray regularly with a natural antiseptic and dry in the sun every now and then.

End of life

Once your brush has reached the end of its life, place it in your home compost bin to breakdown naturally.  No need to remove the wire, the coconut fibres will be eaten by micro-organisms, the timber handle will decompose over time and the remaining wire can be recycled when the compost is spread.

      Great to use

"I had read quite a few reviews about this before I bought this. One of the reviews did mention that feels a bit weak when you try to scrub the bottle. I agree with that review, but it's still good. I figure out, instead of going in a round motion, I just have to scrub it in a up-and-down motion, that gives it more force when scrubbing. But I won't use this to clean wine glass, as that metal end in the brush keeps clinging with the base of my delicate wine glass, I kind of worry that either I will scratch the bottom or it will break the glass."
