Wondering why your balm may look grainy or have small bubbles?
Because this product is made with natural shea butter, small bubbles or slight graininess can occur with temperature changes, this is completely normal and doesn’t affect quality, performance, or safety. It will melt when applied to the skin, however, if you wish to make it smooth again, you can re-heat balms in a microwave or double boiler until just melted, then poor back into the tin and re-set in the freezer overnight.

"A lovely unoffensive fragrance that is chemical free. I have the small tin and have found it to be a great product at keeping mozzies away. Yet to try in summer for flies. We have had a lot of rain over the past months, so mozzies are more prolific. Keep this tin near the back door to apply before going out in the yard in the evenings. I just put some on exposed areas, but don't cover the area in the same way you might with a spray. It seems to work adequately this way. The balm is thick, as you would expect, making it more difficult to spread over, but I will continue to use it. The natural ingredients give reassurance that it is safe for your skin - obviously still do a patch test if you have sensitive skin. I will buy the big tin next time and save the small one to decant some into to keep in our pockets when we go out in the evenings and for travel. Great that we can reuse the container - less waste, love it!"

"My daughter who is prone to bug bites, is still being bitten even when wearing the bug balm. Mosquitoes even continued to land on her, even while applying the balm. It has been helping to sooth her bites though"
