ZERO WASTE | MUSLIN | CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON | 5 BAGS | SMALL 20 X 25 CM | MEDIUM 30 X 35 CM | LARGE 35 X 40CM | BREAD BAG  | HOME COMPOSTABLE | PLASTIC-FREE & REUSABLE

Did you know Australia saved 1.5 billion plastic bags from ending up in landfill in just 6 months? That’s awesome, now let’s keep improving that number!

These Go For Zero Muslin Produce Bags are the organic, durable and reusable alternative to those flimsy single-use plastic ones. Free from chemicals, they are great for purchasing fruit, veg & dry goods such as nuts, rice, pasta, legumes & beans at your favourite bulk food store. Once you get them home, you can keep the food inside the bag & store it directly in the fridge or cupboard, as they are!

The difference between the muslin & net style of produce bags is that muslin is thicker and perfect for storing anything that would slip through a net produce bag (rice, nuts etc.).

Did we mention.. the large muslin bag could also be used as a bread bag!?! Yep! Tell your baker you've moved on from those flimsy plastic bags and hand them your sturdy reusable alternative.

Pair them with our net produce bags & reusable tote bags for the ultimate zero-waste shopping combo  🙌

Pack Includes:

  • 2 x Small Bags - 20 x 25cm
  • 2 x Medium Bags - 30 x 35cm
  • 1 x Large Bag 35 x 40cm

Naturally good for you & the planet:

  • Slightly dampen the bag before you place it in the fridge to extend the life of fruit & veggies
  • They are also a traveller’s best friend as they can be used to store bikinis or skincare products when travelling. I use mine as a wash bag to store dirty clothes
  • 100% plastic-free product & packaging!

Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. Being an online store, we guarantee that your orders are packed with zero plastic and delivered through shipping carriers  who compensate the amount of carbon dioxide used when shipping by investing equally in restoring ecosystem projects.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells.

Go For Zero is more than a store. We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet. It is our mission is to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

Thank you for your trust in us,

With love,

Ellie

How to use

How to Use:
Say goodbye to single-use bags, simply open your new reusable produce bag and place your desired items inside, pull the drawstring tight to secure them inside.

Care Guide:
Gentle cold machine wash with a toxin-free laundry soap & line dry only. Organic cotton material may shrink when exposed to heat.

End of life

Once your bags can no longer be reused or repurposed, pop them in your home compost or bury in your garden. The cardboard box they comes in can also be home composted, buried in your garden, or simply popped into your home recycling bin!

      Great bags

"I expected them to be finer. These are more akin to calico than muslin imo, but do the trick."

      Catherine C. (4/5)

      Produce bags

"Really good quality, I also use for other things other than produce as well. My young daughter pinched them off me for taking toys to school- like lego and stuff. They are very versatile 😊"

      Recommend you buy it

"A good variety of sizes. I use the larger ones to freeze sliced bread and the smaller ones to add to my collection of bags when out shopping (for things like nuts and seeds)."

      Anna K. (5/5)

      Produce bags

"I love these so handy the larger ones are great I think they are a bread bag but I use it to fit the larger produce in at the supermarket. Eg- lettuce. Top bags 👍"
