    Say hello to Go For Zero's Natural Kitchen Loofah Set -made from loofah plant fibres, a fast-growing vine in the cucumber family. Once the fruit is dried, a sponge-like structure remains, which can be cut, ground, compressed and sewn into a cleaning sponge. This process means that the sponge is free from chemicals, plastic & glue, making it compostable at the end of life! How awesome is that?!

    These home compostable kitchen loofahs can scrub various surfaces, including dishes, stovetops, pans & bathrooms, or even be used as an exfoliator on your body (if you like a really hard scrub)!

    Pick between our soft or hard sponges, they become softer when they expand in the water but still hold their rigid shape, so they are best used as a scrubber. Think of it as a plastic-free scourer!

    Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

    I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

    When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet.     How to use

    How to Use:
    These loofahs are firm when dry, soak under running water and watch your loofah expand and become soft and squishy. Use to clean dishes, stove tops, surfaces and more!

    Hang to dry between uses and place in the sun every couple of uses to sterilise.

    How to Clean:
    Simply toss it in the dishwasher or washing machine after use. You can also microwave it wet for 30 seconds for an extra deep clean to remove bacteria.

    End of life

    Both the packaging & scrubs are 100% biodegradable and home-compostable. Cut product into smaller pieces and place in your home compost or bury straight into your garden.
