    Dry, frizzy or curly hair needing a little extra love? Meet  NueBar's Curly or Dry Solid Shampoo Bar, a nourishing, soap-free shampoo bar specifically formulated for  curly, dry and damaged hair.

    Handmade in Australia, this  solid shampoo bar for curly and dry hair gently cleanses while nourishing your strands with moisture-loving ingredients. With no soap, sulphates, silicones or alcohol, it's also  Curly Girl Method approved and suitable for  coloured hair.

    The nourishing formula combines  Argan Oil and Cacao Butter to help moisturise and condition dry hair, leaving it feeling softer, smoother and more manageable without relying on silicones.

    For our curly-haired friends, the gentle formula cleanses without sulphates or soap while helping your natural curls feel soft and nourished rather than stripped.

    And because hair-washing should smell as good as it feels,  Ylang Ylang, Orange, Lavender and Cedarwood Essential Oils create a beautiful floral, citrus and softly woody aroma.

    Pair your bar with one of our plastic-free travel tins for easy plastic-free storage on the go.

    Please note: NueBar bars are hand-poured. As the mixture cools during pouring, one side of the bar may have a slightly rough or rustic surface. This is completely normal and does not affect the performance of your bar.

    Current Owners of NueBar Renee Tilley and her husband Dion, eagerly bought the business after discovering their beloved local business was up for sale. 

    Renee having formerly ran a successful natural skincare brand, already had an affinity for herbs and the healing nature of plants and NueBar’s Founders, Katie and Kerry, had set up the most perfect foundation to run with. 

    Renee and Dion fell in love with the energy and integrity behind NueBar and knew it was vital to keep the original recipes, ethical practices, and morals in place from the original company while they operate in the heart of the Blue Mountains.

    NueBar’s products have a huge toxin-free promise with the goal of being great for people and the planet without sacrifice! 

    How to use

    Wet your hair, bar, and hands, and gently rub the bar  between your hands or directly onto wet hair. Once you’ve got the desired amount of product, place the bar  out of direct water  and use your hands to  build up a lather. 

    Massage into the root of your hair and rinse out completely. 

    To get the most out of your bar,  store out of direct water and let drain completely between uses. 

    End of life

    Once you have finished your favourite bar there will be nothing left but the cardboard box. Simply pop the box in your home compost or bury it your garden!

        "Tried with some scepticism due to price tag vs size and the fact that the soap bar is rather soft and sticky when unpacking. Thinking that the bar will disappear after one wash, it was the complete opposite. It is an amazing product. Perfect for curly and dry hair with scalp prone to dandruff. Leaves a subtle but beautiful smell in the hair. Does not provide much lather, but just enough to get a good wash of scalp and hair. Shampoo bar needs to be kept dry between uses and there’s no doubt it will last for a while."
