    Unlike conventional candles made with synthetic fragrances, Amavasya uses pure essential oils (almost a shot glass worth!), delivering a true aromatherapy experience that supports both wellbeing and atmosphere. The natural wax burns for approximately 1.5 times longer than most wax alternatives.

    Want to use your own candle jar? Check the wax size above to make sure they fit your container. To guarantee the most even burn of your candle, we recommend choosing a container not bigger than the refill + 2cm in diameter, the wick needs to be trimmed after the melt pool has filled the container.

    How to use

    1. For the first burn, allow at least one hour or until the wax pool covers the entire surface
    2. Before each use, trim both wooden and cotton wick elements to approximately 3mm with a candle wick trimmer, or simply use your nail clippers you already have at home
    3. Remove any char from the wick before relighting
    4. If the wick appears to be drowning, extinguish the flame, remove excess wax with paper towel, and then relight
    5. Natural frosting may appear due to temperature changes - this is normal and won't affect burning.

    End of life

    Your Bangalow candle is designed for a sustainable afterlife!

    1. Once finished, place the jar in the freezer for an hour and the remaining wax will easily pop out
    2. Alternatively, place in direct sunlight or use a hair dryer to soften the wax
    3. Remove the wick tab and clean with water (use tea tree or eucalyptus oil for any stubborn residue)
    4. Your beautiful amber jar is ready to be refilled with an Amavasya candle wax refill or repurposed
    5. All packaging is recyclable or biodegradable
