    Meet the Eco-Friendly Cork Yoga Mat from ZONE, thoughtfully designed with a natural cork surface and natural rubber base to provide grip, cushioning and support without relying on a conventional plastic foam mat.

    And here's our favourite part! The cork is harvested from cork oak trees in Portugal without cutting the trees down. The bark naturally regenerates, allowing the same tree to be harvested again in approximately 8–10 years. How amazing is nature?

    Whether you're enjoying a gentle morning stretch, a sweaty yoga flow or a little moment of mindfulness, this mat is designed to help you feel grounded and supported.

    Cleaning Tips: 

    • Before first use and to clean, wipe down with a damp cloth.
    • You can clean with gentle detergents and gentle scrubbing, but ensure not to be too rough as you do not want to damage the service. 
    • If the mat feels smooth before your practice, wipe it with a damp cloth or moisten your hands. It will become grippier once you start moving and sweating.

    *Not suitable for washing in the washing machine.

    Cork comes from the bark of the cork oak tree, which can regenerate its bark after harvesting. This means cork can be collected without cutting down the tree, making it a renewable material.

    ZONE uses cork sourced from Portugal, where cork oak trees are traditionally harvested by skilled workers. Paired with a natural rubber base, it creates a beautiful alternative to conventional synthetic yoga mats.

      How to use

      Simply roll out your mat with the cork side facing upwards and enjoy your favourite yoga practice! For extra grip: Lightly mist the cork surface with water or dampen your hands before starting. The surface can become grippier as moisture increases.

      End of life

      These yoga mats are biodegradable as they are made from 100% natural materials (cork and natural rubber, no glues or toxic inks), so they can be added to your home compost. The natural rubber does take longer to break down, so you can cut the mat into smaller pieces to speed up the process!
