Aussie Family behind the brand

Eco Max believes that the choices you make create the world you want to live in. When they create their products they follow the following principles:
  • Ethical manufacturing
  • Well designed, made to last & biodegradable at end of life
  • And most of all respect the planet

They believe that being an eco friendly business is so much more than the products they produce. For them, it’s looking at the entire lifecycle of their products, from the raw materials, to their disposal, they ensure their supply chain is ethical and transparent.

Materials
They use 100% plant based fibres in their brushes which means they can be composted at the end of their life. The timber they use is a mixture of waste material from the building industry to plantation timbers from FSC certified forests and rubber wood sourced from trees at the end of their rubber producing life.

Manufacturing
Each of their brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, in return they provide sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house creche. We love this because the women have the power to be financially independent and directors of their own destiny!

Did you know…their first product was paper made from elephant poo?! From day 1 they’ve thought about how waste can be repurposed. We love that!

How to use

Simply collect your soap ends inside the pouch, pull the drawstring closed, and use it directly on your skin in the shower or bath.

Care Instructions:

  • Rinse thoroughly after each use.
  • Spray regularly with a natural antiseptic spray.
  • Allow to dry completely between uses.
  • Do not leave sitting in water for prolonged periods.
  • Machine wash when required.
  • Dry in the sun occasionally to help keep fresh.

End of life

When your Hemp Soap Saver Pouch reaches the end of its life, place it into your home compost or bury in your garden where the natural hemp fibres can safely break down and return to the earth.

"My partner loves this, he uses it as a bit of a scrubber with his soap bar in it, and it's still holding up! The Hemp is definitely stronger than the sisal bag too."
