Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero. I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. I thought I would try the coconut straw cleaner over the regular ones sold out there (nylon) but found it really stiff and hard and prickly to begin with and I was worried it would scratch more than clean. I’ve been using it a little now and it’s softened up a little and I don’t think it scratches but I’m not sure I will buy again.
