Aussie Family behind the brand

After receiving the diagnosis in 2002 that her husband had cancer, while she was also carrying their first child, founder Talia decided to change their lifestyle. To live a more sustainable, cleaner and healthier lifestyle, they chose to move to a quiet, cozy house in the hills.

Almost everything they used was either planted or raised in their area. She started to research a waste-free, organic laundry agent and came across soapberries. She launched Soapberries in Australia. They are from trees grown in the Himalayan Region and are natural antibacterial, anti-fungal and hypoallergenic.

Today, with her love for the environment and the passion for serving the humanity, she has partnered with Open Heart International, an Australian charity that does vital work in Nepal in the area of women's health - offering life-changing surgery for individuals with debilitating conditions.

The Soapberries from That Red House come in 250 gr and 500 gr and the Wool Dryer Balls are an extension of her passion for a sustainable and eco friendly laundry.

    Love these!

Who knew adding wool balls to your dryer helps with drying time?! haha but they really do seem to help! The hardest part is extracting them from your washing once it's done hahaha

    Woolly balls

Love them. Not as loud as the rubber ones I had that bang around the dryer. Also love that I can add natural oils to them to scent my clothes. I liked using dryer sheets in the past, so I’m glad I found this alternative and can also choose what I want to scent my clothes with.

    An absolute must!

I don't like using the dryer unless necessary, so when I do, these will balls make the process much quicker! I feel good knowing I'm using less electricity, and also making my clothes so fluffy and soft. Using these is a no-brainer!

    It just makes sense

Such an easy way to reduce drying time and save electricity. I mainly use the three grey balls but love that they have white ones for those lighter loads. Highly recommend!

    They actually work!

I was very sceptical about it but really wanted to give it a try and I don't regret it at all! We try not to use our dryer but on rainy days there is no much choice and I am pretty sure the dryer balls cut the drying time by half the usual! Also, the laundry has less wrinkles so less ironing! Such a great product :)
