    Aussie Family behind the brand

    Did you know Australians dispose over 30 million toothbrushes a year, creating 1000 tonnes of landfill every year?

    The founders of Ecotoothbrush were horrified by this idea and came up with a simple and great idea: environmental friendly toothbrushes. They chose MOSO bamboo as it can grow as much as 1 meter a day, making it very renewable material that therefore does not contribute to deforestation. And it is a bamboo our pandas don’t like to eat :)

    The bristles are infused with a charcoal reactive ion which easily adsorbs dental plaque on the surface of teeth to make them healthy and white.

    *Note: to this day, there are no biodegradable bristles available (apart from boars hair - we don’t want to go there). The bristles are made out of BPA free polymer that is resistant to microbial growth during regular use to guarantee safety and durability.

    How to use

    Pair your new toothbrush with your favourite plastic-free toothpaste and brush as normal. 

    We recommend allowing your toothbrush to completely dry in between uses. 

    *Dentists recommend to replace your toothbrush every 3 months.

    End of life

    The bamboo toothbrush handles can be placed into your home compost bin, if you don't have a composter, they can be buried in your garden!
