This Go For Zero Rectangle Pure Body Konjac Sponge is super gentle and perfect for normal skin types and babies. The large rectangle shape allows you to gently exfoliate larger areas of your body.

Konjac Sponges are the perfect waste-free alternative to plastic loofahs when washing your face and body. Konjac is a porous root vegetable that is native to Asia. It is crushed and moulded into a slightly textured sponge that is gentle enough to use daily on your skin to remove dead skin cells, naturally stimulates blood flow, and provide a ‘polished’ feeling. They are perfect for absorbing excess oils and removing hard-to-reach bacteria and makeup.

Did we mention they are pH neutral?! Meaning they can help maintain the natural pH levels of your skin and protect it from bacteria and environmental elements.

Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. Being an online store, we guarantee that your orders are packed with zero plastic and delivered through Sendle, who compensate the amount of carbon dioxide used when shipping by investing equally in restoring ecosystem projects.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells.

Go For Zero is more than a store. We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet. It is our mission is to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

Thank you for your trust in us,

With love,

Ellie ❤️

How to use

Fully soak the sponge in warm water for 1–3 minutes before use until it becomes soft and jelly-like throughout. Never use the sponge while it’s still firm or dry in the centre.

After use, gently squeeze out excess water, do not wring, twist, or pull. Store hanging or on a dish where air can circulate, but avoid very dry, hot, or heated areas.

Avoid using with harsh cleansers or exfoliating products.

Konjac sponges are made from 100% natural plant fibre and typically last 4–8 weeks depending on frequency of use.

End of life

Once your konjac sponge has reached its end of life, simply pop it in your home compost or bury it in your garden!
