Aussie Family behind the brand

Built by engineers, made for families, and designed to last generations.

Solidteknics was founded in Australia by mechanical engineer and passionate home cook Mark (MJ) Henry, who set out to challenge the throwaway culture of modern cookware. After decades of experience designing equipment for professional chefs, MJ grew frustrated with disposable, synthetic-coated pans that wear out quickly and end up in landfill.

Driven by a mission to create healthier, longer-lasting and truly sustainable cookware, Solidteknics pioneered world-first innovations, like seamless, one-piece wrought iron pans, crafted without coatings, rivets or hidden nasties.

What started as a small Australian engineering project has grown into a globally recognised brand, but their values remain the same: create products that are non-toxic, durable and built to last for generations.

Every pan is made with the belief that cookware shouldn’t be disposable, it should be something you use, love and pass down. In fact, Solidteknics designs their products to last a lifetime (or more), encouraging families to build traditions around cooking and sustainability.

At its heart, Solidteknics is more than just cookware. It’s a movement away from wasteful consumption and towards thoughtful, long-term living, where quality, health and sustainability come first.
