Ingredients

Alkaline Sodium Complex, a natural blend of Trisodium Hydrogendicarbonate, Sodium Carbonate & Sodium Bicarbonate

Aussie Family behind the brand

Downunder Wash Co started with a simple mission: to create natural, effective cleaning products that actually work, without compromising people or the planet. What began as a personal need for better laundry solutions quickly grew into a passion-driven brand focused on sustainability and everyday utility.

At the heart of the brand are founders Jenny and Marcus, a down-to-earth Aussie couple who couldn’t find a laundry soap that tackled tough stains on reusable cloth pads, period underwear, and reusable nappies without harsh chemicals. Rather than settling, they combined their skills and values to craft their own eco-friendly formulas that are strong on stain removal yet gentle on skin and the environment.

Working alongside their “pawfessional motivator”, their beloved dog Jeffrey, the team infuses every bar and powder with intention, using carefully selected natural ingredients and sustainable packaging. Their products are lovingly made in Australia, embodying a no-nasty policy that’s kind to families and the planet alike.

Today, Downunder Wash Co remains proudly Australian-owned and trusted by customers across the country for its effective, biodegradable, and cruelty-free cleansing solutions that help keep homes clean, and reduce reliance on chemical-laden alternatives.

      The ultimate stain remover

"So glad this stain remover is now available in 500g! I use it for everything - cleaning the range hood vents, period undies, deodorising the bin and I add it into every laundry load. I love that it’s fragrance free so I don’t get a nasty headache like other products. And for everyone asking for the stain stick, this brand has a stain remover bar infused with the powder - works wonders!!"

      Stain remover

"Made a umbrella cover like new again - no more stains"

      Linda F. (4/5)

      Good product

"Repeat buyer. Admittedly I prefer the stain remover stick for direct stain removal. This product can be made into a spray (photo attached). Also good for soaking items with smells or multiple stains. Would prefer a larger size."

      Anna (4/5)

      Not my favourite

"I won't be buying this product again; I much prefer the stain sticks. They are definitely more effective and easier to use. The stain powder removed maybe 20% of the stains from sheets and clothes. Was also surprised at how small the package was. Didnt last long at all."

      Won’t buy again

"Second time trying this still doesn’t seem to remove my stains. Won’t buy again."

      Laundry soaker

"Great to soak clothes but wish it was bigger"

      My latest must have!

"Finally got to try this beauty and I am not disappointed! Just with the size... WE NEED A BIGGER ONE!! Ahahahaha ❤️ I have a somewhat endless supply of GFZ's stain remover sticks, but I have to admit.... I am a bit lazy with my laundry and although I love the stick, the bloody awesome stain remover is way more laziness friendly ahahahha!!! I've used it with my period undies, which I was desperate to remove that overtime odor :( tried vinegar, was always air dried, tried the stick, tried multiple washes.... Nothing worked as effectively as this product! This weekend I finally made myself tackle my trainers, they used to be white and trust me.... They were horrifically brown 🤯 I was so happy when after a 12h soak and a little scrub they were looking great! Very effortless and super effective. Love love love! A must have ;)"

      Will buy again

"Effective to reduce wee stains and smells on (Brolly) sheets when our child wets the bed."

      Anna K. (5/5)

      Incredible

"This stain remover really does the job for whatever stain you need to remove. And it’s so versatile as you can use it with soaking, creating a spray, or directly spot treating the stain. I’ve also used it as a normal stain remover in my washing machine and the load of whites, truly came out perfect."

      Chloe G. (5/5)

      Fresh & Clean Down Under

"Certainly much better than using Napisan. Using an eco friendly product to wash eco friendly products is a win win"
