"I used to have a copper, pointed arch tongue scraper and it tarnished quickly and didn't feel like it was doing much. This scraper is the opposite. It looks much more chic, has not tarnished and, this might just be a personal thing, feels like it is doing a better job due to the rounded arch. I personally like the silver as I find the brass ones tarnish so easily and get a funny taste, the silver stays clean and fresh.
