Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. Being an online store, we guarantee that your orders are packed with zero plastic and delivered through shipping carriers  who compensate the amount of carbon dioxide used when shipping by investing equally in restoring ecosystem projects.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells.

Go For Zero is more than a store. We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet. It is our mission is to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

Thank you for your trust in us,

With love,

Ellie

How to use

*Please note that tongue scraping should be an addition to your oral care routine, not a replacement*

  1. Relax the tongue, use two hands & place the scraper as far back as comfortable on the tongue
  2. Lightly apply pressure & pull forward in a scraping motion
  3. Try not to feel too grossed out when you reveal the ’gunk’ that is now on the tongue scraper
  4. Rinse and repeat 5 times or as needed
  5. Find someone to smooch 😘

*It is recommended to do this before brushing twice a day.

End of life

Our tongue scrapers are designed to last! Once you can no longer reuse it, take it to your local recycling faculty to be properly recycled.

      Attractive and indispensable

"I used to have a copper, pointed arch tongue scraper and it tarnished quickly and didn't feel like it was doing much. This scraper is the opposite. It looks much more chic, has not tarnished and, this might just be a personal thing, feels like it is doing a better job due to the rounded arch. I really love using and displaying this tongue scraper."

"Getting used to using, find it easier to use looking in mirror."

      Must have

"I've tried both, and I do like this one more than the copper one. Once you start using it, you think to yourself why have you waited so long to have one of these. Great addition to oral hygiene routine."

      Helena (5/5)

      Still scraping through

"I bought this years back and still using it now! It's good quality and doesn't rust!"

      Very Happy :)

"It is as described and works perfectly, is easy to use, is sturdy and feels well made.. My order arrived promptly with a kind handwritten thankyou note along with a freebie bar of soap which was such a lovely unexpected surprise ♡ I will definitely be purchasing from here again.."

      Great addition to oral hygiene

"So happy with this product, have been looking for the right one for a while now and happy I settled on this one, it is small and clean, love it !"

      Silver tongue scrapper

"This is a good basic tongue scrapper, does the job and makes your mouth feel clean. I personally like the silver as I find the brass ones tarnish so easily and get a funny taste, the silver stays clean and fresh. I also like that its all one metal piece, no plastic handles like some I have seen on the market - easier to clean and better for our world :-)"

      Tongue Scraper

"I'm new to tongue scraping, but this tool seems to work well! Easy to use, good shape."

      Bad breath be gone!

"Absolutely LOVE this product! It’s the best feeling cleaning your tongue and seeing all the gunk that comes off in the mornings! Always leaves me feeling fresh and clean. Definitely recommend and it’s fantastic that there’s no waste or plastic! Just bought one for my husband too :)"

      Steph (5/5)

      Yep, this helps

"I’ve been using this every morning since in arrived. Helps so much with the ‘I can smell my own breath’ feeling if you have to wear single use masks at work. I try and wear reusable ones when I can but I put a disposable one yesterday and found it okay for once! Haha.."
