    Tips & Tricks: 

    For those who are trying shampoo bars for the first time, there may (or may not) be symptoms of the 'transitioning phase' depending on hair type and levels of chemical build up. This will involve the hair feeling heavy or dull as it detoxifies and releases all the nasties!

    To make the transition as smooth as possible and decrease the residue, we recommend an apple cider rinse after using the shampoo bar. Simply add 2 teaspoons to a cup of water, poor it over hair and let it sit for 5 minutes. Wash the rinse out or let hair dry with the apple cider in it. The smell goes away, we promise! Do this every other day until you are happy with the results of your shampoo bar.

        How to use

        Option 1:

        • Wet the bar and rub it directly onto hair to form a lather. Massage it from scalp to roots and leave in for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

        Option 2:

        • Wet the bar and rub hand on bar to create a foamy lather & massage from scalp to roots. Leave it in for 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

        *Be sure to store the bar on a rack or out of the shower. The bar will last longer if it is able to dry completely in between uses.

        End of life

        Each bar comes in a home compostable box, simply cut into pieces and place into your home compost or bury it in your garden.
