100% NATURAL | FOR NORMAL, DRY & BLONDE HAIR TYPES | DOES NOT LEAVE STAINS | REDUCE WASTE | LIQUORICE & MINT SCENT
Harvested from the forests of Taiwan, the Voodoo Bamboo Charcoal Shampoo Bar from Beauty and The Bees enriches the natural vibrancy of normal to dry hair types. Blonde customers have said it tones down the brassiness (unwanted warm tones) in dyed hair, replicating the effect of a purple shampoo.
Charcoal absorbs oil from oily hair while it also nourishes dry hair and relieves eczema, redness, dandruff and itch.
In 1993, Jill suffered from severe eczema and tried procedure after procedure that did not work. Not until she had the idea of using organic treatment did the solution finally dawn on her, paving the way for her own range.
She created Australia’s first ever shampoo bar about 25 years ago and always used raw ingredients that are also earth-friendly 100% plastic free, and cruelty-free. Can we get a round of applause?
Aimed at healing, nourishing and protecting you, your family and the environment, each Beauty and the Bees is handmade in Tasmania using local producers for the raw ingredients wherever possible! What’s not to love?

I didn't expect this product to work, but it does. I am happier with it than with normal shampoo and my hair are less greasy. the only thing my partner doesn't like is its licorice smell. But as soon as my hair are dry the smell disappears so I will continue using it. I don't need conditioner anymore and I like the gentle waves that my hair got since I am using the Charcoal Shampoo Bar.
Dig it... But not as much as the Tasmanian Beer Soap
Love the 'blackness' and the scent which is a bit like liquorice... Suits me well. It does a great job of cleaning my hair and feels pretty nice in my hair afterwards. However I do still prefer the Tasmanian Beer Soap over this one.
