KNIFE, FORK & SPOON | CREATED FROM THE WASTE OF COCONUT TREES | 100% NATURAL MATERIAL | PLASTIC-FREE | COMPOSTABLE AT END OF LIFE

Did you know…Coconut trees themselves only grow fruit for about 70 years and then they die.The coconut farmers cut them down and plant new ones in their place. They then use the coconut wood to create furniture and other building materials.

Coconut Bowls source the smaller materials and offcuts from this process to be handcrafted by artisans into spoons, knives, and forks. They represent a closed loop product that can be composted back into the earth at the end of their life.

The Wooden Coconut Cutlery Set is a reusable, durable, and plastic-free option when eating your yummy creations. Pair it with an Original or Jumbo sized Coconut Bowl for ultimate coconutty goals!

Aussie Family behind the brand

The founder of Coconut Bowls, Jake McKeon was backpacking around the world and exposed firsthand to the devastating reality of plastic pollution that exists in the sea. This fuelled his passion to make a positive difference. He went back to Bali, had 100 coconut bowls made, packed them into his surfboard bag and returned to Aus.

After high demand, further sourcing, and product development, Jake realised that a coconut shell is more than a bowl. It was the best example of closed-loop sustainability he’d seen. Billions of shells go to waste each year, if these bowls could replace the need for plastic bowls, and then be composted back into the earth at the end of their life, they would create a closed loop product life cycle.

Coconut Bowls donate 1% of their annual revenue into verified environmental initiatives certified by 1% for the planet. They are on a mission to build their conscious community, and it feels soooo good to support them!
