HEMP | GENTLE EXFOLIATION | PLASTIC-FREE | COMPOSTABLE

Did you know… the skin is known to be responsible for 10 to 15% of the body’s toxin elimination (it’s sometimes referred to as our third kidney). Gentle exfoliation is an effective way to enhance the skins detoxification process

Eco Max’s Hemp Exfoliating Mitt is perfect for gently exfoliating whilst showering or bathing to remove dead skin cells. When you combine soap with its textured feel it makes it easy to scrub off fake tans, dirt and grime. (Tradies, you know what I mean!)

Hot tip: can be used to exfoliate your armpits, which can be helpful when making the transition to natural deodorant.

Good for you & the planet:

  • Hemp naturally resists bacterial growth, has four times the strength of cotton, and saves water! Did we mention it’s compostable at end of life?!
  • Exfoliatinggently unclogs pores, increases circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system for detoxification

Care:

Rinse & Spray regularly with a natural antiseptic and dry in the sun. (for the planet). Do not leave sitting in water for prolonged periods of time.

You can wash the mitt in a laundry bag in a cold machine wash. It is suggested to wash them regularly and hang on the clothes line to dry.

Designed and Owned, with, in Australia. Made responsibly in Bangladesh.

Aussie Family behind the brand

Eco Max believes that the choices you make create the world you want to live in. When they create their products they follow the following principles:
  • Ethical manufacturing
  • Well designed, made to last & biodegradable at end of life
  • And most of all respect the planet

They believe that being an eco friendly business is so much more than the products they produce. For them, it’s looking at the entire lifecycle of their products, from the raw materials, to their disposal, they ensure their supply chain is ethical and transparent.

Materials
They use 100% plant based fibres in their brushes which means they can be composted at the end of their life. The timber they use is a mixture of waste material from the building industry to plantation timbers from FSC certified forests and rubber wood sourced from trees at the end of their rubber producing life.

Manufacturing
Each of their brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, in return they provide sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house creche. We love this because the women have the power to be financially independent and directors of their own destiny!

Did you know…their first product was paper made from elephant poo?! From day 1 they’ve thought about how waste can be repurposed. We love that!
