Our Coconut Fibre Straw Cleaner is your reusable straws' new BFF. Keep them together so you can immediately eliminate the risk of bacteria building up in your reusable straw, spouts and hard-to-reach places. We’re not just talkin’ straws, have you ever stuck one of these down the sink?! It’s not a pretty sight, but soooo effective at removing the ‘gunk’.

No more worries about microplastic fibres breaking off and travelling down the sink into the environment. This baby is made with 100% natural coconut fibres instead, meaning that if they do break off, they will break down naturally without harming anything or anyone! *woot woot*

Size: 10mm diameter - Perfect for most standard straws.

Hot tip: If the cleaner doesn't fit inside your straw or it's a lil tight, you can alter the size yourself by simply trimming it down until it fits...Genius! 🤓

Good for you and the planet:

  • Cleans metal, bamboo, glass, and silicone straws, spouts & hard reach places
  • Decreases lingering bacteria in straws
  • Made from 100% natural coconut fibre
  • Plastic free to avoid chemical or toxin leaching

Designed and Owned, with , in Australia. Made responsibly in China.

Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet. Being an online store, we guarantee that your orders are packed with zero plastic and delivered through Sendle, who compensate the amount of carbon dioxide used when shipping by investing equally in restoring ecosystem projects.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells.

Go For Zero is more than a store. We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet. It is our mission is to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

Thank you for your trust in us,

With love,

Ellie Red Heart

Coconut for red are stiffer than a normal cleaner

I thought I would try the coconut straw cleaner over the regular ones sold out there (nylon) but found it really stiff and hard and prickly to begin with and I was worried it would scratch more than clean. I’ve been using it a little now and it’s softened up a little and I don’t think it scratches but I’m not sure I will buy again.
