Why You’ll Love This Go For Zero Eco Cleaning Cloth

Why is paper towel still a thing? You buy it, you use it once, you bin it, you repeat. No thanks!

This is your easiest swap yet. One reusable, plastic-free cloth that handles spills, dishes, benches, and the general chaos of real life, without the waste spiral. It dries fast, doesn’t get that gross damp-cloth smell, and keeps showing up day after day.

  • 1 cloth replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towel (yep, one cloth)
  • Holds up to 20x its weight in liquid, seriously absorbent
  • Fast-drying to help prevent bacteria build-up and bad odours
  • Washable up to 200 times (dishwasher or washing machine)
  • Plastic-free, fully biodegradable, and home compostable at end of life
  • Made from 70% cellulose (wood pulp) and 30% cotton
  • Approx. 20 x 18 x 0.3cm

How To Use + Care (So It Lasts)

Use it anywhere you’d usually reach for paper towel: spills, dishes, wiping down benches, mirrors, the highchair, the sticky bits. Rinse, wring, hang to dry, repeat.

To wash:

  • Dishwasher or washing machine (up to 200 washes)
  • You can microwave it when damp
  • Hang dry only (skip the dryer to avoid shrinkage)

End of life:
Home compost it or cut it up and bury it in the garden. Worms will be thrilled.

Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi I’m Ellie, the founder of Go for Zero.

I began my toxin-free and sustainable journey when my newborn (Gracie) developed rashes using ‘mainstream’ skincare products. Determined to help my daughter, I dedicated my time to research product labelling. I was horrified to discover how many harmful ingredients regular hygiene- and household items contained (and it is safe to say that I became a bit of a toxin-free nerd).

When I researched and tested toxin-free products, I saw a high amount of vendors still producing top quality products in plastic containers. This created a sore spot in my heart and fire in my belly to only provide products that are safe for you and our planet.

From stinky garlic face masks, extremely ‘turmericy’ drinks & deodorant that stains clothes, I have gone above and beyond to make sure that I test and personally LOVE each product that Go for Zero sells. We are more than a store, we are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise their health nor their planet.

It is our mission to educate and motivate people to make positive changes. Our team will continue to work hard each day to find options that are good for you and the planet. We understand that removing toxins and waste from your life is a journey that does not happen overnight, but we’re here to make it that little bit easier and enjoyable. Keep going, we’ve got this!

How to use

Wet cloth and use the same way you would use single-use paper towel and other dish cloths. After use, place in your dishwasher on top shelf or washing machine and re-use!

End of life

At the end of their life, cut up into small pieces and place into your home compost or simply bury them in your garden. Mother earth thanks you!
