Honeysticks was born in a small preschool in Aotearoa (New Zealand), when their founder noticed something concerning – little ones were chewing on crayons. A deeper look revealed what most parents never hear: many conventional crayons contain paraffin wax (a by-product of petroleum) and toxic pigments that have no place near children's mouths.

From that moment, Honeysticks was created with a simple, powerful mission: to make natural, non-toxic creative products that are safer for kids and better for the planet.

Today, Honeysticks is a true family business, built by parents, for parents. As dads themselves, they care deeply about the products our children use. That’s why they create art supplies and bath-time fun that inspire imagination, encourage sensory play, and tread lightly on the Earth.
