The RetroKitchen Hens Cellulose Dishcloth is a reusable Swedish dishcloth made from cotton and plant-based cellulose. Super absorbent, washable and reusable, it's an easy swap for disposable paper towel and cloths when washing dishes, wiping kitchen benches and tackling everyday spills.

Small but mighty, this cellulose sponge cloth can hold up to 20 times its weight in liquid, making it a handy little multitasker for cleaning around your kitchen and home.

Use it for washing dishes, wiping benchtops, cleaning sinks, tackling spills, bathrooms and other household surfaces. When it needs a refresh, simply pop it in the wash and get straight back to cleaning!

With proper care, one cloth can last 6+ months and replace up to 17 rolls of disposable paper towel. And when it's finally cleaned its last spill? The cotton and cellulose cloth can head to your home compost or worm farm. How good is that!

Plus, the fun Hens design adds a little farmyard personality to your cleaning routine and makes a cute, practical gift for chicken, hen and farm animal lovers.

Biodegradable but lasts a long time

"I bought my first set of these dish cloths probably two years ago and they are only just starting to come apart a bit at the edges and get a few holes. I throw them in the wash regularly with towels and they hold up fine. They don’t tend to smell but learned you can boil them briefly to get out any built up gunk and sanitize. I was worried they would just fall apart but it worked great. Love them and such cute prints too :)"

      Working Well

"Lasting and not breaking down so far but excited that once it does it can go into the compost. Quick drying and doesn't smell. Love the chickens!"

      Cellulose Dishcloth 🐓🤍🐨🖤

"I first used the cellulose dishcloth in a sample box of goodies - and loved the koala pattern and still use this one. However, when my koalas were in the wash, I didn’t have a backup cellulose dishcloth, so I bought 2 chicken cellulose dishcloths for myself for Christmas and I love them! Great cute pictures, but they also do a fantastic job when washing the dishes and wiping up spills, cleaning them bench tops and stove top etc. Wonderful product which I will definitely be purchasing again! 🐓🤍🐨🖤"

      So absorbent!!

"Definitely my new go to! I tried to use those awful (and cheap) blue and white cloths from woolies as a replacement for paper towels. They weren’t great to begin with but would thin out and barely absorb anything after going through the washing machine. So glad I found these!!!!! I’ll use them for everything and am so glad they can be composted. They’re so absorbent and leave a beautiful streak- free clean. Highly recommend!!!"
