Aussie Family behind the brand

Hi, I am Ellie, tea lover, mum, and founder of The Loose Tea Company.

My journey began with a simple but powerful goal: to bring people back to the ritual of real tea, tea that’s pure, sustainable, and made with intention. After years of cutting toxins and waste from my life (thanks to my other baby, Go For Zero), I wanted to create something that celebrated connection, with our health, with nature, and with each other, one cup at a time.

At The Loose Tea Company, our hand-blend high-quality, ethically sourced loose-leaf teas are good for you and gentle on the planet. Every ingredient is chosen for its flavour, function, and integrity, no artificial additives, no plastic packaging, and absolutely no compromise.

We believe tea should do more than taste good, it should make you feel good. So whether you’re looking for your morning pick-me-up or winding down with a calming brew, know that every sip supports a healthier you and a happier planet.

How to use

Steep 1 teaspoon of tea per cup of 80-100oC water for 2-4 minutes.

Then Enjoy!

*If storing your loose leaf tea in the refill bags, please ensure to close the bag tightly to avoid any outside components getting into your tea and to preserve its taste.

*Store out of direct sunlight.

End of life

Bags:

These bags are home compostable, simply cut the bag up and add to your compost or bury straight into your garden.

      Very pleased

"Super good quality, it felt like they actually took care in packing it. It came really fast too. The bottle of loose leaves is a lot bigger than I thought too very happy with it, I bought it as a gift for my brother who's obsessed with tea, but I'm honestly thinking of buying one myself. :)"

      Smooth, Tasty and refreshing

"I was so excited to find an Aussie company that did loose leaf tea online that was affordable. (its super hard to get where I live, I have to travel for 2 hours) Thank you Abbi, I appreciated the personalised note and inspiring quote, it is on my fridge."

      Eloise C. (5/5)

      ?

"The infuser is fantastic and the tea is one of the nicest teas that I’ve ever had. Don’t know how I’ll go paying half the cost of the tea in freight ."

      Craig B. (4/5)

      Morning friend

"I'm no tea connoisseur, but this one seems pretty good to me. If there's anything, on the not so positive side, to say is that because the tea is not "grinded" it becomes a bit hard to put it in my tea strainer ahah! It's my morning dexterity task ehehehh! Love it though =) will try their other loose leaf tea next."
