Did you know...women are super important when it comes to changing the world.
Why are women so important for fighting climate change?
Women drive 70-80% of all consumer purchasing decisions, through their buying power and influence.
Have you heard of1 Million Women? It is a movement of 950,000+ women (and growing) from all corners of the world that are fighting for a lifestyle revolution. In the hope that 1 million people will inspire another 1 million people (and so on) to fight for climate justice.
Every time we spend money we are casting a vote for the world we would like to live in. The founder Natalie Isaacs' vision is to empower women everywhere to act on climate change through everything we do. The way we live, the choices we make, and how to use our voices/votes.
How did it all start?
What started by saving a few dollars on her electricity bill, has turned into a mission,App, and a book that is literally called 'Every Woman's Guide to Saving the Planet'. From choosing which banks and superannuation funds you support, to reducing your waste, or simply understanding why we are so powerful, they haveendless resourcesto guide you through making a positive impact.
Even though social solutions may be lesser known than natural or technical solutions to Climate Change, they are just as important!
