Hello, nut milk lovers and sweet-toothed readers!

It’s no secret that making our nut milk is becoming more and more popular (and I do it every week too)! Not only is it a great way to save money, but it’s also an excellent way to control the ingredients that go into our drinks…

But what about the leftover pulp? Don’t throw it away! We’ve got a recipe for you that will turn that pulp into delicious and healthy bliss balls! Say hello to this decadent treat that uses up every last bit of that precious almond pulp, and turns it into a snack that's sure to satisfy your cravings.

Choc Almond Bliss Balls

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 120 g leftover almond pulp
  • 100 g peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
  • 70 g raw honey (see Tips)
  • 30 g raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp natural vanilla extract
  • 1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method:

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend for 1 minute.
  2. Increase the speed until the mixture comes together.
  3. Use your hands to roll the mixture into bliss balls. We used about 1 heaped teaspoon for each ball.
  4. Refrigerate the bliss balls for about 1 hour.
  5. Enjoy your delicious and healthy snack!

Now, not only are you making your nut milk, but you’re also reducing waste by using the leftover pulp. It’s a win-win situation! 🙌🏻

These bliss balls are perfect for a midday snack, a pre-workout boost, or even a guilt-free dessert.

Tips:

  • If you’re vegan, you can use maple syrup or agave nectar instead of honey.
  • If the mixture is too dry, you can add more peanut butter or honey.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the mixture, such as shredded coconut or chopped nuts, to make it more interesting…
